Hey, I'm Oliver.

I'm a 22 year old graphics designer located in the United Kingdom. I studied an A-level in graphics design, providing me with over four years of on-the-job experience, and an additional four-to-five years of experience in freelance. I've been interested in design and illustration since the age of twelve, following my childhood passions towards drawing, leading me to where I am now.

My journey in design:

During my childhood, I taught myself Adobe Photoshop to do basic image manipulation. This led me to a Creative iMedia GCSE course at high school, where I developed further skills in Photoshop and understood copyright, design terminology, and demoed some client briefs.

In 2020, I pursued a placement for a two-year-long graphics design course at college. I became proficient with Photoshop, learnt how to use Adobe Illustrator and Procreate. Following my degree, I'm actively pursuing freelance work and maintaining my full time position as a graphic designer for local companies.

What are my skills?

As a designer, I bring a lot of skills to the table. I carry an above-average understanding of the Adobe Suite; primarily Photoshop & Illustrator, which I have been using professionally for over 6 years. I also have experience with After Effects in specific freelance commissions. When discussing non-Adobe apps, I have occasionally used Canva to help design quick social media graphics, and Procreate for drafting larger projects.
